The title never really fits... MANAGER (ie: controller, forced labor-er, etc). No matter what you call it, the structure of a person MANAGING another person really doesn't work because...

  1. Employees hate being micromanaged
  2. Managers waste time checking up, instead of doing real work
  3. Employees have little sense of ownership
  4. Managers are often don't have the technical abilities to "know" what the employee does
